My daughter and I had a wonderful time staying at the Casa Verardo hotel and we’d highly recommend it to other travellers. The hotel is conveniently situated only five minutes away from the San Marco square and the San Zaccaria vaporetto station. It was therefore easy for us to quickly reach the heart of city while also being able to enjoy the peace and quiet of the somewhat remote street, where the hotel is located. The whole place has a charming atmosphere and the interiors are beautiful. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was continental, with sufficient choice of sweet and savoury foods, including some gluten-free pastry as well. I especially have to commend the hotel staff who were all incredibly friendly and helped us with everything we needed, including allowing us to keep our luggage at the hotel for a few hours after checking out. We look forward to coming back at some point for sure!

This hotel is the best experience that we have ever had! Incredibly friendly staff and business owners that are always ready to help. Being a guest in Casa Verarda is like a fairytale when you find yourself at Venetian style maison with chandeliers, antique portraits, and mirrors. The interiors are amazing! Especially the dining room with tasty breakfasts. One of the best things is the location- the hotel is right beside a canal and is 10 minutes from the San Marco square. We still cannot forget that breathtaking view we had from our room on the top floor: canal and beautiful city roofs! Also, there was a wonderful garden with sofas. We highly recommend this hotel for your next visit!

Highly recommend. Central and easy walk to St Mark Square, and the waterfront. Our first floor room was lovely - lift available - with ensuite including deep bath. Very high ceilings made it airy. Large comfortable bed. Staff were wonderful, especially the hotel manager. He organised our trip to Chioggia and made it very easy for us, including acting the liaison between water taxi and hire car as we had no phone reception. He even walked us to the water taxi and managed our luggage. He also recommended two nearby restaurants and booked our table. His colleague walked us to the restaurant nearby. It was lovely. Great breakfast too. Highly recommend.

The hotel was very easy to access and not far to walk with the luggage. It is situated on a narrow waterway that is beautiful and extremely quiet. The front desk was very responsive, even before arrival and they replied promptly. The room was beyond comfortable and the quality of the furniture and interior, was luxurious. There was no coffee station in the bedroom. The breakfast offered a variety and it was tasty and ample. The room had a safe, fridge and hair dryer. I trust this is helpful.

The location was absolutely incredible. Very central and within a quick walking distance to all the main attractions in Venice. The canal outside the hotel was by far the best thing about our stay. The location of the hotel is in a very quiet area with the most beautiful canal in the entire city in my opinion. And you have it almost completely to yourself. I would absolutely stay here again. It really is a hidden gem!!
